1
Phase One
$6.3 million (funded)

Phase One of New Day Palisades will kick off this fall. The work will focus on visitor circulation and safety, site enhancement, and sustainability. From a new parking lot and landscape features to increased river access, this phase will enrich visitor experiences and create a safer environment for nature to thrive.
2
Phase Two
$9.5 million (funding needed)

New Day Palisades Phase Two is scheduled to begin fall 2026, contingent on funding. Enhancements aim to improve visitor access to and engagement with the river and trails while creating a distinct national park experience. This will include a new visitor information center, expanded river entry points, and additional visitor circulation improvements.
